History

The IICF International Step Up Challenge was introduced in 2020 during the global pandemic as a way to safely connect with colleagues, family and friends in a fun way and focus on positive mental and physical wellness during an unprecedented time – and help raise funds for our most vulnerable community members.  Since then, more than 16,000 insurance professionals and other supporters, in 19 countries, have participated in our Step Up Challenges.

Proceeds benefit IICF nonprofit partners serving children who are struggling with food insecurity in the US and vulnerable young people in the UK.

In addition, many wonderful nonprofits chosen by our winners have benefited from Charity of Choice grant awards from IICF.
